Does a monthly price mean monthly billing?
Check the amount due today. A monthly equivalent can spread one upfront payment over a longer subscription. For illustration, $48 paid for 24 months works out to $2 a month, but the payment today is still $48. This is a calculation example, not a live offer. Our VPN pricing guide explains the math.
Should I choose a monthly or long-term plan?
Start with how long you expect to use it. A lower monthly equivalent has less value if you stop using the service before the term ends. Compare the total cost over your expected usage period in our monthly versus long-term VPN guide.
Where can I find the renewal price?
Before paying, look for the renewal amount and billing interval in the provider’s checkout and subscription terms. If either is unclear, ask the provider before subscribing. Keep a copy of the terms you agree to, including how to turn off automatic renewal.
